It is not an internship, it is more of a job/volunteer/service learning, since every employee involved in this are volunteers. However, as a person who loves animals I help the lives of many dogs/Cats/Small Animals who are in need of a home. I help out with adoption counseling, giving them specific food and medicine that they need from help from different veterinarians that will come on the weekends to help us out. It is something that I will need for the future because it makes me feel comfortable to know what is it like working in an animal related environment. However, I also have fun by walking and playing with domestic animals.
